(3) Management and service work for the lives of foreign teacher

International Exchange Department is responsible for the lives of foreign teachers do a good job management and service work, school dormitories Logistics Department is responsible for the maintenance of foreign teachers.

Apartment Management Rules for Foreign Teachers:
(1) The College will provide an apartment for foreign teachers.
(2) Foreign teachers should respect their neighbors and be careful to no disturb their study and rest.
(3) Apartments should be kept reasonably clean and tidy.
(4) If anything in the apartment needs to be repaired, the International Exchange Department will make arrangements for the work to be done. Damage by the teacher to school property will need to be compensated by the teacher according to the value of the damaged item.
(5) If you leave your apartment for an extended period of time, be careful to close all windows and lock your doors.  Unplugging unnecessary appliances and other items that use electricity while away is also recommended.  Basically, be careful of security for your apartment as well as conserving energy.
(6) If you wish to host a visitor who is not a Chinese citizen, they must contact the International Exchange Department and fill out the "Alien Registration Form of Temporary Residence" form.
(7) Pets are allowed, but they should not be left unattended outside of the apartment.  Also, pets are not allowed in the classrooms.

Foreign Teacher’s Living Arrangements
(1) Apartment phones can dial campus phone for free. Off campus calls to the city or domestic and international long distance are a personal expense.  The university provides a monthly phone allowance.
(2) During the foreign teachers’ employment, medical expenses are a personal expense. The university provides limited medical insurance in accordance with applicable laws as well as an appropriate medical allowance.
(3) The school car will be provided for academic related meetings and obligations and one trip home annually.
(4) Foreign teachers may celebrate the same holidays as Chinese teachers.  In additions, special holiday from the foreign teacher’s native culture may be celebrated with up to 3 days of leave, upon request.
(5) Foreign teachers are encouraged to participate in school teaching, cultural and sports activities, such as teaching contest, sporting events, performances, competitions, and to make friends with students and faculty.
(6) Foreign teachers may travel during the holidays to areas that are open to foreign visitors without prior permission from the Public Security Department or any other government agency.  They may not enter prohibited areas.
