Training objectives

This program aims to train high quality talents who have solid fundamental theory and systematic expertise in Chinese language and literature and cultivate them in an all-round development way. Graduates who have mastered the history, current situation and future directions of research in Chinese language and literature will be qualified in conducting independently scientific research, teaching, and management in the field of Chinese language and literature.

Research on Traditional Chinese culture, Development and Schools of Language Theory, Research on Aesthetics, Ancient Chinese Literature Criticism, Chinese and Western Comparative Poetics, History of Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature Criticism, Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature and Genres, Tang and Song Poetry Study, Ming and Sing Literature and Genres, Classical Literature Study, History of Chinese Language, Research on Chinese Grammar, Philology.
