1. Journalism

Training objectives

This major aims to train the application-oriented talents who have broad cultural literary and modern scientific knowledge, systematic News theory knowledge and professional skills, strong ability of social practice, and familiar withChinanews, propaganda of policy laws and regulations, the rules of media operation and management and mastering the vocational work like newsroom and evaluation and so on. Graduates can be engaged in the relative work like newsroom culture construction, planning, integration, media operation and management in the modern media, enterprises and institutions propaganda department, cultural construction department, etc.

Introduction to Journalism, Introduction to Communication, the History of Chinese Journalism and Communication, World History of Journalism and Communication, Network Communication, News Interview, News Writing, News Editing, News Commentary, the Media Operation and Management, Photography, Video, Practical Video Editing System, etc.

2. Advertising

Training objectives

This major aims to train the application-oriented talents who have broad cultural literaryartistic accomplishment and modern scientific knowledge, systematic advertising theory knowledge and professional skills, strong ability of social practice, and familiar with advertising ethics and laws and regulations, can be engaged in the relative work like marketing planning, public relations planning, advertising planning, advertising design and production, advertising business and management, new media application in the modern media, advertising enterprises, public relations companies and other enterprises and institutions.

Training objectives

This major aims to train the application-oriented talents who have broad cultural literary, artistic accomplishment and modern scientific and technological knowledge with systematic network and new media theory knowledge and professional skills of social practice, familiar with media ethics, laws and regulations, are engaged in planning of new media, new media information editing and disseminating, data mining and tracking, public opinion (business) analysis and guide, network information management, network marketing and management in new media companies, the modern media, e-commerce companies, research and information consulting companies and other enterprises and institutions, government agencies.
