Autumn Supply-Demand Meeting for 2026 Graduates of Northern Hunan Region Held at Our University

326 Enterprises and Institutions from Inside and Outside the Province Offer 11,716 Job Positions, 489 Preliminary Intentions Reached

Campus News On October 31, the Autumn Supply-Demand Meeting for 2026 Graduates of the Northern Hunan Region was held at the Yunmeng Square on campus. This recruitment fair attracted 326 enterprises and institutions from inside and outside the province, covering multiple professional fields such as manufacturing, education, information transmission, software and information technology services, and construction, providing diverse employment options for the university's graduates.

University Party Secretary Zhang Guoyun, President Zeng Xiangjun, and other university leaders present—Xie Guihui, Xu Xiaoli, Xu Zhenxiang, Tang Xiaohong, Ding Yuejiao, Liu Changhui, Hu Wenjing—visited the site to offer guidance. They engaged in cordial conversations with representatives from the employing units, thanking relevant employers for their strong support of the university, gaining an in-depth understanding of the job-seeking situation of graduating students, and encouraging the graduates to establish a correct view on employment, seize opportunities, and actively seek employment.

The venue was bustling with activity and enthusiasm. Graduates eagerly gathered around the corporate booths to inquire about details and submit their resumes. "We mainly focus on candidates' communication skills and problem-solving abilities," said a relevant person in charge from Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. "The first job is very important, akin to entering an industry. We hope graduates can have a clear career plan for themselves," suggested a relevant recruitment manager from JD Logistics, advising students to clarify their career paths as early as possible. Li, a student from the School of Information Science and Engineering, mentioned that through the preparatory work for this supply-demand meeting, he gained a clearer positioning of his career plan and job-seeking goals. Wang, a student from the School of Artificial Intelligence, stated that the university is very dedicated to graduate employment. The numerous recruiting units coming to campus and the wide range of industries involved provide graduates with many job opportunities.

The recruitment fair also featured an Employment Guidance Service Zone, offering personalized, scenario-based, and precise employment guidance and services to students through "one-on-one" career consultations, visits to renowned enterprises and career training camps, precise job recommendations, and special recruitment sessions.

It is reported that this supply-demand meeting attracted the largest number of participating employers since the pandemic, with 326 organizations offering 11,716 job positions. A total of 5,898 students attended the event, submitting 2,452 resumes, with 489 preliminary intentions reached. Furthermore, this meeting fully leveraged the synergy between the university, government, and enterprises. Among the participants, 178 employers were invited by various schools/colleges, and human resources and social security departments along with industrial parks organized groups comprising 105 employers to attend.
