Our university has added 8 national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites and 12 provincial first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites. The project approval rate and number of national first-class undergraduate majors rank in the forefront of colleges and universities in the province, which is a major breakthrough achievement of our university's specialty construction.

The approved national first-class undergraduate major construction sites are: Chinese language and literature major of School of Chinese Language and Literature, English major of School of Foreign Languages and Literature, advertising major of School of Journalism and Communication, mechanical design and manufacturing and automation major of School of Mechanical Engineering, computer science and technology major of School of Information Science and Technology, and chemistry engineering and technology major of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, human resource management major of School of Economics and Management, visual communication design major of SchoolofFineArts.

For a long time, the university has attached great importance to the construction of professional connotation, especially since the National Education Conference and the national undergraduate education work conference in the new era were held. It plans to build about 10000 national first-class undergraduate majors and 10000 provincial first-class undergraduate majors from 2019 to 2021. At the same time, 4448 provincial first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites have been determined through the examination and recommendation of provincial education administrative departments.
