In July 12th, a group of 60 young students from Taiwan were paired with our classmates, jointly started the opening ceremony of "Taiwan students Hunan Tour in 2017".  Xu Xiaoli, vice president of our university, the Standing Committee of the Yueyang Municipal Committee, Xiong Yi, the United Front Work Minister of the Municipal Committee of the CPC, and Wang Zhendong, a professor at University of South China in Taiwan, respectively delivered speeches. Luo Chun, the director of Taiwan Affairs Office of the city of presided over the ceremony.

At the launching ceremony, both teachers and students exchanged gifts and carried out special lectures on Huxiang culture. The activity will start from July 11th to 18th. After visiting Yueyang, the delegation will leave for Zhangjiajie, Phoenix Town and other Huxiang cultural resorts to gain a better understanding of the history of Yueyang and the culture of hunan.
