28th October, the Hunan Provincial Office of education hosted the "2012 Hunan Province ordinary university modern education technology application contest" and the evaluation results has been announced, our school teacher Liu Huaijin’s "multimedia courseware" won the 2^ndprize, Li Huan’s "University Computer Basis" network course (on behalf of South Lake academy) and Hou Xinlan’ "Music discipline teaching theory and practice of" class won the 3^rdprize.

This competition was sponsored by the Hunan Province Department of education higher education, aimed to further improve the University Teachers' educational technology application level, promote the reformation of teaching and education, and improve the quality of talent cultivation. The contest is divided into three stages, preliminary,intermediateandfinal.Preliminary contestwas held by the school itself, intermediate was organized by committee to have the specialists assess the multimedia courseware and the classroom teaching videos which passed the preliminary contest, the final was taken in the form of scene teaching at Central South University. 135 teachers from ordinary universities of Hunan province were recommended to attend the intermediate stage and 36 teachers entered the final via expert evaluation.
