Late on December 20th, the fifth ‘Ba Ling Friendship’ award of Yueyang City and foreign specialists Chrismas party were hosted by Yueyang city government in Apollo Hotel, city leaders Li Zhijian, Chen Qida, Yan Hua, Yu Bingrui, Chai Xiaoping, Xiong Wei attended the award ceremony, the meeting voted out five excellent specialists from each unit of Yueyang city, our Australian foreign teacher William James and South Korea foreign teacher Baik Changjin both won the award, and William James represented all the award-winning experts to publish a speech, most of the content was expressed in Chinese, it won audiences’ applause, after that, William James accepted the Yueyang TV’s interview, he said that he has witnessed Yueyang's vigorous development during his ten years in Yueyang, and be confident of the future development of Yueyang. After the ceremony, all the leaders and experts took group photo and toasted each other, the Christmas party ended in a relaxed and peaceful festive atmosphere satisfactorily.

The ‘Ba Ling Friendship’ award has been always attached a great importance by Yueyang City government to appraise foreign affairs and foreign specialist, it mainly commend the specialists who make positive contributions to the economic and social development of Yueyang city, more than 24 foreign experts had won the award, our foreign teachers has appeared in every ceremony, it is not only the recognition to our foreign affair work but also our foreign experts ability.
